IAM FAME proudly shares the recent feature by INQUIRER.net US Bureau highlighting the upcoming Filipino American TEACH Awards, an initiative that celebrates educators and community leaders dedicated to empowering the Filipino American community.
Set to take place this August in New York City, the Teacher Empowering Achievement & Cultural Heritage (TEACH) Awards will honor individuals who have made meaningful contributions in education, leadership, diversity, and cultural preservation. This milestone event marks the first-ever TEACH Awards, reinforcing IAM FAME’s commitment to uplifting excellence and service within multicultural and Filipino American communities.
Founded in March, the International Association of Multicultural and Filipino American Educators, Inc. (IAM FAME) continues to champion inclusive learning environments, promote Filipino heritage, and support educators across cultures. Its leadership—Dr. Archie Manalo (Las Vegas), Dr. Eleuterio Timbol (New York), and Dr. Myleen Legaspi (Philippines)—brings together a global perspective grounded in shared experience and service.
“With this initiative, we’re sharing what we’ve learned and experienced – with no strings attached,” said Dr. Archie Manalo. “The best practices we’ve collected from years of teaching in the US are meant to empower others.”
The TEACH Awards reflect IAM FAME’s vision of collaboration, mentorship, and cultural pride—recognizing those who lead with purpose and inspire future generations.
IAM FAME extends its gratitude to INQUIRER.net US Bureau for featuring this significant step toward honoring Filipino American excellence in education and community leadership.
